Seventy-one Design was contracted by the University of NSW Facilities Management to create artwork promoting the University and the construction of the new Tyree Energy Technologies Building (TETB).

Specs: 160 metres x 2.2 metres. Outdoor Vinyl (450gsm), 6 colours digital print, solvent ink, UV+ water resistant, with rope edging and installed using aluminium sail track. Signage in 10 metre long panels (16 unique sections)

The Tyree Energy Technologies Building (TETB) will accommodate and showcase state-of-the-art and leading edge research in clean energy including photo-voltaics, carbon capture and storage. The Project is an initiative of the Australian Government being conducted as part of the Education Investment Fund, and has received Government funding of $75 million.

The building has been named after Sir William Tyree, a UNSW alumnus, successful innovator and businessman, and a major philanthropic supporter of Australian engineering and educational research. Sir William has generously donated $1 million towards the new centre and pledged a further bequest of $10 million.

Situated on the corner of Anzac Parade and the University Mall, the TETB is the most prominent remaining site on Campus, and accordingly requires an iconic building that will provide a gateway to the Faculty of Engineering, the Lower Campus, and the University as a whole.

The TETB project is being led by UNSW Facilities Management in conjunction with Capital Insight Pty Ltd and is expected to be complete and ready for students in February 2012. The anticipated construction value for the TETB is approximately $81.6 million.

Seventy-one Design was contracted by PawsAbout to create POS material for this funky pet boutique in the beach side suburb of Coogee, Sydney. Material created included a double sided DL flier to launch the boutique and accompanying store window graphics and store signage.
